About
I am a graduate student in Human-Computer Interaction at the Rochester Institute of Technology, working at the intersection of research, design, and software engineering. My work spans accessibility, wearable computing, gesture interaction, and AI/ML — always grounded in understanding how people interact with technology.

Background
Before graduate school, I worked as a Backend Software Engineer at SmugMug in Mountain View, CA (2014–2016), where I was the lead backend developer for the "Private Sharing" privacy feature, built AWS infrastructure for delivering millions of dynamic emails, and developed image de-duplication systems, internal tools, and REST APIs for a product serving millions of users. I also worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at Xelic, Inc. (2019–2022). This industry foundation informs my research practice — I build the systems I study.
Research Interests
- Accessible and inclusive computing
- Wearable and embodied interaction
- Gesture and spatial input
- AI/ML for interaction design
- IoT and connected environments
What I'm Looking For
I am seeking design engineering and HCI research roles, especially in accessibility, assistive technology, wearable computing, or teams where research and implementation go hand in hand. I am most energized by work that bridges rigorous user research with functional, well-crafted software.
Beyond Work
Outside of research, I'm a passionate landscape photographer; you can see my work at my photography portfolio.
